Ciguapa is a rum inspired by the rich folklore of the Dominican Republic and its mythological namesake. Legend tells of a mysterious being resembling a beautiful woman with dark skin and backward-facing feet, said to dwell deep in the island’s jungles. She would lure men with her beauty and enchanting gaze, leading them to their fate. Our challenge was to create a design that captures this sense of mystery and allure while honouring the story’s deep cultural roots.
